Hello Mitch,

Here is what I saw golfing at Southern Star Sunday 11-5-23.

Someone decided to kill the Goose Grass.  That is great !    The tee box will fill in.  

Cracks need  to be sprayed.

There is lots of neglected turf on this course.  This neglect is on the resident side of the cart path making it a Zero traffic area.

Their Drop Area's don't have painted designated hitting areas.

Tons of Goose Grass pictured that needs to be killed.

Grass runners in the traps.

Traps were not groomed.

Trap sand is compacted.  I found that out hitting out of a trap.

Here they are killing the Goose Grass in the greens.  Hundreds on each green.

The greens are bumpy and need to be rolled.

This trap has been destroyed by the contractor driving their machine over the edge of the trap without care.

Well they raked the magnolia leaves out of the trap.  Then they just left the mess instead of removing it.

There are issues with cutting cups.

This plug is set way too high.  It is going to get scalped when they mow the green.

So maybe they are not mowing the greens on the weekends.

Another shot at killing the goose grass on the greens.

They have missed some on the green.  Maybe they should go back and get the ones they missed.

Here is a scalped plug.  This is what the one above is going to look like.  Unless the Superintendent has them lower the one above.
