Here is what I saw golfing at El Diablo Sunday 10-29-23 and Monday 10-30-23.

Another caring ambassador. I caught him filling divots and moving the tee markers on the 5th tee box. I asked him why he was moving the tee markers and he said because the maintenance workers just leave them in the same old worn out spots. I thanked him.

You will see there was an equipment failure fertilizing the greens. Why haven't they come back and corrected the fertilization of the greens?

Monday's golf round had three additional observations. We finished at 11:30 and I had not seen any maintenance workers on the course. In addition, the traps had not been groomed. The 4th tee box now has a mole trap.

Tee Boxes have finally had some fertilizer applied.

They are still full of weeds and in rough shape.

Equipment failure.

Skimping on fertilizer. The whole green should look like darker green stripes.

Tons of weeds in this landscape area.

Debris all over this course in the landscape areas.

They were chasing these moles 30 days ago the last time I played here.

Such a large area of neglect.

Grass runners.

Traps not groomed.

The greens are pretty weed free.

The tee boxes are loaded with weeds.

The moles are attacking another tee box. I did not see any traps.

This forward tee box is loaded with weeds.

A large area of neglect. The homeowners have to look at this mess everyday. All of the golfers do as well.

Weeds in cracks.

It is hard to see in the picture. A nutgrass weed is standing as tall as the hand on the golf club. The rest of the weeds are 6 to 10 inches tall. These areas are to be cut a least once a week.
