Hello Mitch,

This is what I saw golfing at Chula Vista Monday 10-16-23.

Wow ... the improvement in the greens over the last two weeks is impressive!  They are currently the best greens out of the 14 different courses that I have played since returning to The Villages in September.

So Down to Earth decided to fix the greens.  It did not take long.

When is Down to Earth going to fix the other 15 executive courses they maintain?  Hopefully they are in the works.

They are working on getting the grass to fill in.

The greens are almost completely free of weeds.  This is an exception.

I like the idea of having sand available at the tee box.  I would suggest placing them next to the right tee marker as you face the green.  They are more likely to be used by a golfer looking right at it while hitting.

The tee boxes overall seem to be getting better.  As you can see in the picture some have a ways to go.

The traps look good.  All were groomed nicely.

They still have cooler issues.  Here the cooler is leaking.  You can see the dirt and bacteria build up on the spicket.

Another rough tee box.

would also like to say that all of the landscaping areas are looking very good.

That is it from Chula Vista.
