Hello Mitch,

Here is what I saw golfing at Saddlebrook Thursday 9-21-23.

Saddlebrook and Hawks Bay are two of the better conditioned executive golf courses in the Villages.  Is that because they are the closest courses to the developer's residences ?

Cutting the cups is a lot better today.  Old cut cups are healing in nicely.  There are a few exceptions.

A number of the greens have areas of thin grass.  

There are weeds in the tee boxes that need to be addressed.

The traps were not groomed.

The greens have minimal weeds.  The weeds that are there are small and should be treated on a regular basis to prevent them from spreading.

They are cutting a fringe now.

You see some goose grass (weeds) just off of the fringe.  Fairways, collars and rough are still full of weeds.

The regular cup cutter did not do this.  Why isn't the Superintendent following up on the substitute cup cutter?

This green needs some attention.

They are still not setting up a "Drop Area" for the unfortunate that hit into the water.
