Here is what I saw Saturday 4-29-23 at Silver Lake.

Where did the weeds go ??? There were no weeds on the greens !!!  The tee boxes had no weeds either except for the 4th tee box where they had set up temporary teeing areas in front of the regular tee.

Hopefully Down to Earth will treat all of their courses.  I did play El Diablo on Monday and there was a lot of goose grass on the greens.

Hole 1

A look back at the first tee box.  Shows a lot of wear.

Now they need to spray around the greens.  You see a lot of goose grass which is going to seed now.

They are doing a better job of cutting cups but there are still issues.  Cutting cups in the dark may be contributing to the problem.  The superintendent needs to check their work and have the bad ones fixed.

No weeds but lots of wear.

Most of these waste areas are growing small weeds.

They are losing the fairway.  

No grass in the middle of the fairway

Need to spray the weeds around the greens
