Sandhill 4-15-23

Sandhill 4-15-23       Contractor: Down to Earth     dtelandscape.com

Here is what I saw Saturday 4-15-23 at Sandhill.

The starter area needs weeds sprayed and debris picked up.

Hole 1

Grass is thin all over this course.
Tee Boxes are all worn badly.
Forward tee with lots of weeds.

The collar approach to the green is loaded with Goose Grass (weed)
Most all of the greens have areas that are worn out with dirt visible.
This is an old cup plug that was scalped and never repaired.  So it is just a dead spot on the green.  If you had a nursey green with this type of grass they could repair this damage.
Landscape area with debris

Hole 2
Debris under bench
Large area of thin grass and a very low traffic area.
We had rain and the traps were not groomed after the weather event.

Goose grass in the green.  Need to kill it while it is small.
Hole 3

Large area of weeds and thin or no grass.  Very low traffic area.

This is on the cart path side of the green
Hole 4

Landscape area is just loaded with weeds.  This is next to the tee box.
This patch on the green is not healing very well.
Sedge in the green
Hole 5

This is the back tee that does not get much play.  However, it is a worn out mess.
This is hard to see in the picture.  My drive is sitting in the middle of patch of what looks to be St Augustine.
Near the green and lots of weeds
On the collar of the green

These piles of sand tell me that the greens were not mowed today.
