Here is what I saw Monday 4-17-23 at Bonita Pass.

Hole 1

Edging needs to be completed all over the golf course again.

The bunkers have not been groomed. They were holding water after the last rain. The grass needs to grow outside of the bunker as it is very thin.

Note the one rake out in the middle of the trap. Another half in the trap. Who checks the rakes in the morning ?

A damaged spot on the green that needs to be repaired. Thin grass which may be from nematode damage and needs to be treated.

Hole 2

Tee boxes are in very poor condition. The contractors will not spend the money to grow grass.

Most all of the traps look like this. It is Monday so why are these traps not being groomed ?

Nematodes. Mitch, are these greens on a treatment plan for nematodes ? You cannot putt over this damage.

Scalped Mitch, are you going to have Brightview repair this damage ?

Hole 3

This is just off the left side of the green. Lots of trash. Looks like the wind blew it all into this area. Where is the superintendent ? He should see all of these things that I am pointing out and take care of them before we see them. I don't think he is qualified to be in that job.
