Bonita Pass 3-18-23
Bonita Pass 3-18-23 Contractor: Brightview Golf Maintenance, Inc. Brightview.com
Here is what I saw Saturday 3-18-23 at Bonita Pass.
Hole 1
Tee box in rough shape
This landscape area has not been cleaned out in years.Grass runners way out from edge of the trap
Dead spot in the green
Old cup plug set too low so it is like a hole in the green
Lots of weeds in the green
Hole 2
Another rough tee box with a bunch of leaves
This landscape area as all of the similar ones are loaded with weeds

The traps were groomed. Many like this one have areas where grass is not growing.
Weeds in the green as well as foreign grass invasion
The outside edge is damage caused by golfers sticking their putter into the cup to get their ball out without removing the pin. Clearly the contractor did not repair the cup correctly.
This cup plug is set too high
Hole 3
Trash along with weeds (see the cup)
Damage on the green
Hole 4
Cement cracks need to be treated
Cart path needs edging monthly or when the grass grows over an inchWeeds below the sign
This area needs grass and is located next to the tee box
Lots of weeds
Looks like water run off into the trap. Must be from the sprinklers
Dead areas on the collar
I was told this is goose grass. It is going to seed in the green. So when the contractor does not put down the pre-emergent, those seeds are going to germinate. A post-emergent should be used to kill this weed before it goes to seed.
Hole 5
I am just not sure how someone breaks dthe spike off of the tee marker.
This landscape area looks good. It has been cut back and cleaned upThis landscape area looks good except for the palm tree debris.
More dead areas on the collar
Green damage and an old cup with sedge
I had to putt through this mess.A weed called lemon leaf
Hole 6
Damaged trap edge
Hole 7
Edging issues
Hole 8
Lots of weeds under the sign
Hole 9
Landscape area is a mess
More messI am not sure what this is in the green.
It looks like mold, but I am guessing and probably wrong.
