Hill Top 2-11-23
Hill Top 2-11-23 Contractor: Down to Earth dtelandscape.com
Here is what I saw at Hill Top on Saturday 2-11-23.
Golf cart parking by starter shack. All of the green are weeds.
Hole 1
Missing grass.
Tee box with lots of weeds.
All of the sand traps have grass runners.
DTE has damaged the trap edge with their grooming machine.
View from the first green of the landscaping screening the golf maintenance facility. DTE by contract is to maintain all of the landscape around the maintenance facilities.
The tee box is full of weeds.
A trip hazard is located at the cart path by the 2nd tee box. Some dirt and sod would fix the issue.
Lots of weeds in the green.
I am not sure what is causing the green blotches on this and many other greens. You can also see many old cup plugs that have not healed.
Grass runners
Damaged trap edges.
Hole 3
Lots of weeds in the tee box. Also very rough looking.
Lots of landscape beds like this one are in need of winter cut back and clean up.
Weeds in the green. This one weed is about one inch above the green surface. So either the greens were not mowed in violation of the contract or they did a super poor job of mowing.
I pulled this off of a weed in the green. You can see that it has gone to seed....right in the middle of the green.
Landscape in need of attention.
Edging issues
Tee box sign with grass in need of a trimming.
Tee box area with lots of debris in the landscaping.
I was helping another golfer look for his ball and found a 5 inch diameter tree limb about 6 foot long laying in the fern.
Green repairs trying to heal.
This hole by this tree should have been filled in weeks ago.
Tee box full of weeds.
Weeds in the green and a cup trying to heal
I am guessing that the sprinkler head has issues that need repair. Grass runners
Edging issues
Weeds
Dollar weeds by tee box
More green blotches, weeds and cups trying to heal
A large area of dollar weeds near the tee box. Also damaged turf caused by DTE.
Cart path edging issues
A large dirt patch behind the tee box where nobody walks. Why can't grass be grown in a low traffic area?
